Adding, editing and deleting Media


EEXAR provides two ways when it comes to add and edit Media, you can execute these actions:
  1. Manually
  2. by ZIP import

Media deletion is only possible through manual action.

Manually

Add Media

To add media manually

  1. Navigate to the Media associated view of a product.
  2. Click the needed Media uploading panel:
    1. Pictures, videos
    2. 3D Models (details about 3D Models upload here)
  3. Select your file.
  4. Click the  icon.


Edit Media

To edit media manually

  1. Navigate to the Media associated view of a product.
  2. Select the Media to update.
  3. Open the Media details and click Edit Media.
  4. Edit the name or choose a new file.


Delete Products

To delete products manually

  1. Navigate to the Media associated view of a product.
  2. Select the Media to delete.
  3. Click Delete from the menu or open the Media details view and click Delete permanently.
  4. Type "DELETE" in the dialog box and click OK.


ZIP Import

Add Media

To add media through ZIP Import

  1. Navigate to a Media folder.
  2. Click the "Upload" left panel.
  3. Choose your ZIP file and click the icon.



Note:
Make sure you follow the right ZIP file format, more about it here.
Uploading a media file through ZIP upload that has the same name as an existing media file for the same product will update the existing media file.

Update Media

To add media through ZIP Import

  1. Navigate to a Media folder.
  2. Click the "Upload" left panel.
  3. Choose your ZIP file and click the icon.


Note:
Make sure your new files have the same name as the existing media files for the products you want to update.
