Session Types

Session Types

Projects can be accessed through different sessions in EEXAR, according to your business need, you might favorite one over another. Each session that belongs to the same project shares the same data, only the format, the device used and the interactions between users will change. It exists 3 types of sessions:

  • Web
  • Augmented Reality
  • Negotiation

Web session

The Web session can only be accessed through the web application by visiting and connecting to app.eexar.com. The users will access the project through their respective account and will run it on their own, reviewing the products one by one, inputting potential quantities, notes and so on.

The Web session supports features such as:
  1. 3D Models
  2. Attached files
  3. Validation Rules & Dynamic Fields
The greatest benefit of Web session relies in the fact that users only need a computer and a web browser to connect to the project. The downside is that users are left alone to review the products, and even though you can set up what they can view and input, it might not suits for certain needs such as face-to-face business meetings for example.

Benefits

  • Only requires a computer.
  • Supports 3D Models.
  • Supports Attached files.

Augmented Reality session

The Augmented Reality session can only be accessed through the mobile application on Android and IOS. The users have two choices when it comes to connect to the session:
  1. Join an existing Room (launched by a Presenter or Central)
  2. Launch as Individual Experience
Note:
Launching a session in "Individual Experience" mode depends on the project configuration, more here.

The Augmented Reality session supports features such as:
  1. 3D Models in AR
  2. Presenter/Attendees interactions
  3. Validation Rules & Dynamic Fields
The greatest benefit of the Augmented Reality session relies in its powerful presentation capability, Presenters can push in real-time 3D Products to Attendees, so that they review them in a real environment. Although, this session type is not suited for negotiation purposes which occur later in the sales funnel, as it can be long and heavy to review content with which Attendee can interact. Also, the Augmented Reality session requires a device which supports AR.

Benefits

  • Supports 3D Models in AR.
  • Supports Presenter/Attendee interactions.

Negotiation session

The Negotiation session can only be accessed through the mobile application on Android and IOS. The users will access the session by joining an existing Room (launched by a Presenter or Central):

The Negotiation session supports features such as:
  1. Presenter/Attendees interactions
  2. Validation Rules & Dynamic Fields
The greatest benefit of the Negotiation session relies in its capability to run negotiation oriented meetings, Presenters can push in real-time Products to Attendees to review them. The content remains classic (Pictures and videos), avoiding any loss of attention and keeping the focus on the sales. Also, any mobile device (phone or tablet) can launch this session.

Benefits

  • Supported by any mobile device.
  • Supports Presenter/Attendee interactions.
