Term

Definition

3D Models
Is a mathematical representation of something three-dimensional like an object. It is used by the system to preview real life objects in a web browser or in Augmented Reality.
A
Account defaults
Domain-specific details such as currencies, company logo, colors etc., that are displayed in places like the Catalog, Projects, invoices, etc.


API

A set of routines, programming protocols, and tools for building software applications.



Attendee
Is an Internal/External User who has been invited to participate in a Project to review Products.


AR Catalog
Is the Augmented Reality version of the Catalog, only accessible with the Mobile Application it makes use of the 3D Content to showcase the Products. 


Augmented Reality session
Is a type of Session used during Projects, it can be used only with the Mobile Application and makes use of the entire content (especially 3D Content) to showcase the Products. 


C
Catalog
A complete list of Products available to review on the Web Application.


Categories
Classes or divisions of Products regarded as having particular shared characteristics. In EEXAR, there is 3 levels of Categories, there default names are: Category, Sub-Category and Further Sub-Category.


Currency
A system of money in general use in a particular country, it is used to create Price Types and to generate Projects Reports.

Domain
A company account to which specific Internal Users belong. External Users can also be invited, are not bind to it.


Dynamic Fields
Information fields specific to Projects. They take the form of fields giving information to the Attendees, their value is always a number and is based on a calculation set up by the Owner of the Project.

E
Export
A process that gathers data from individual modules and transfers them to external sources (ex: CSV or PDF).


External Group
Set of External Users sharing the same Permissions on a Domain, it can be restricted in which Products it has access to and which Product fields he can view.


External User
A person who has access to a Domain. They can access two items: the Catalog and the Projects what he can view is based on the permissions given by the Internal User who gave access.

Files
Specific Media that can be attached to Products and put at the disposal of External Users to be downloaded while reviewing the Products either in the Catalog or during a Web session (in a Project).


Folder
Simple d irectory containing either other Folders or Product Folders.

Group
Set of User sharing the same Permissions.


I
Individual Experience
Configuration specific to Augmented Reality sessions during Projects which allow Attendees to launch the session autonomously without the need for a Presenter.


Internal User
A person who belongs to a Domain. They can perform activities based on the permissions given by the Super Admin, manage their records, and access the records shared by other users in the Domain.


Import
The process of gathering data from various external sources (ex: CSV files) and transferring them to EEXAR.


Important Notices
Information field specific to Projects. It takes the form of a field giving information to the Attendees, its value is always a alphanumerical and is set up by the Owner of the Project.




M
Media
 Enriched content of a Product linked to it by its Reference, it can be any kind of files, from pictures to 3D Elements.

N
Negotiation session
Is a type of Session used during Projects, it can be used only with the Mobile Application it makes use of non 3D Content to showcase the Products.


Notification
The action of notifying Users from a specific event (ex: Project invitation, Export successful etc.). There is two types of Notification: Email and Desktop

Order Fields
Input fields specific to Projects which are only available if Shopping Experience is activated. They take the form of fields to fill by the Attendees.


Owner
Is the Internal User who created the Project.

P
Presenter
Is an Internal User part of a Project in which he is capable of pushing Products to Attendees and lead the presentation/negotiation.


Price Type
Is the combination of a name and a Currency, it represents a type of price that the company uses to sell its Products (ex: FOB, DAT, DDP etc.)


Product
Good bought by a customer, it requires 3 important information: Product name, Reference and Categories.


Product fields
General characteristics of Products, they are shared by every one of them and can be totally customized.


Product Folder
Type of Folder that can only contain Products.


Project
Represents a sales meeting in real life which means the presentation of specific Products to specific Users during a specific period of time. It is composed of Sessions to which the Users can connect to review the Products, and generates a Report on the Sales ran.


R
Reference
Unique code of a Product used by the system to identify it.


Reports
Business data presented in a graphical format.

S
Super Admin
An EEXAR user who has access to all modules and records. They have full permissions to configure and manage the Domain or to create/invite Users.

T
Tags
Combination of a name and a Price Type. Used to assign quicker and easier Price Types to Users.

U
User
Person who has access to a Domain.


User Interest
Configuration specific to Projects, which allows Attendees to express their interest for a Product by ticking a "YES/NO" box.


User Notes taking
Configuration specific to Projects, which allows Attendees to take notes for each Product review during a Project.

V
Validation Rules
Configuration specific to Projects, which checks the entries made by Attendees in the Order Fields. The Validation Rules are created by the Owner of each Project.

W
Web session
Is a type of Session used during Projects, it can be used only with the Web Application and makes use of the entire Content to showcase the Products.
